The existing kitchen equipment was outdated and in bad condition, so a decision was made to completely renew it. The new kitchen includes a modern Ikea element kitchen unit with a solid oak worktop treated with hard oil. The existing range cooker with five gas-powered hobs and two electrically powered ovens was worth preserving. The floor was completely removed and replaced with larger format travertine tiles, and new skirting boards were added.
The old ceiling was replaced with Fermacell gypsum fiberboards and new LED recessed spotlights were installed. Later, the existing pendant lamp above the table was replaced with a modern pendant light from Louis Poulsen. The electrical installation was also updated to meet new requirements.
